Swimming

Swimming in Irish primary schools is part of the physical education curriculum, aiming to equip students with essential water safety skills and basic swimming techniques. We arrange lessons with local pools, where trained instructors guide students in developing confidence and proficiency in water. Lessons usually cover foundational skills like floating, basic strokes, and breath control, progressing according to students' abilities. This program promotes physical fitness, builds students’ confidence, and helps instill a lifelong skill for safety and enjoyment.
